Welcome to the Hornbeck Search and Rescue Team's website. We are a part of the Shawn Hornbeck Foundation which is a Not for Profit 501(c)(3) organization. We provide our services FREE of charge to all city, county, state or federal emergency agencies as well as other recoginized SAR Teams. Our team is made up completely of volunteers who dedicate their time to help others!

As a professional Search and Rescue Team we can only respond to search reqests when contacted by either a law enforcement representative, fire or emergency services representative or another emergency agency. We are NOT able to respond directly to a search when contacted by family/friends of the missing person. These requests will be directed to contact their local law enforcement agency and request that our services to be used.

INFO: Chris Diamond will be assisting with a SARTECH II Exam in conjunction with the FUNSAR course being taught by Eureka Search and Rescue. This is an INVITE ONLY event. If you have contacted Chris about attending you can use the registration form on our website.
INFO: Members of Hornbeck Search and Rescue Team are going to be hosting a Night Navigation night at Babler State Park on Saturday, April 20, 2013. This event will be for all skill levels as we will be working in groups. The course will be setup similar to a SARTECH I Exam for those who wish to see what the exam will be like!
This event is open to all members of the SAR community, as well as other First Responder affiliated members.
